In the passage ” Ways of Hearing ” by Damon Krukowski begins with Episode #1″Time”. I am choosing this topic “Time”. How is time representing analog to digital sound and technology? Analog has to be sound more variable signal and real life and digital sound more advanced and it modified any situation like a digital audio in music recording and in radio or television broadcast.

The most personal technology has the power to change lives. Nowadays people can not imagine their life without technology. It does from morning to night they rely on electronic device. They are some advantages and disadvantages to using smartphones. Surely makes our life easier but there are some disadvantages to using it. In the first paragraph I am going to write about the advantages and disadvantages. Advantages is from included small charlls to big it makes people easier. We can connect with the world, for instance, my parents and relatives are back in my country but I feel like I do connect with them everyday because of social media and cellphone. I am a student and without technology I can not do my homework.I need laptop to do check for my assignments.In the opposite it has some cons even my mind distracting from social media and cellphone because we all the time keep watching unnecessary things and makes to avoid real interaction with other people.

According to this picture and in episode #1 Berger talks about how images could be used to manipulate. The viewer’s point of view and the 9/11 image shows you how made by photographer in order to make meaning of it. We can see here a foreground image of five young people look happy one side but we think deep into it. Across the river from New York with fire billowing from the Twin Towers so picture is automatically drawn in two parts. There’s a contrast to stark contrast between this disaster on the other side of river with the smoke billowing out of manhattan and these five young people look enjoying and having a chat but we notice that this photo become a sign of young people not carrying about events in the world.

In this passage “ways of seeing” By John berger’s central point that concerned to be naked is to be oneself, nude is to be seen naked by others and not to recognize for oneself. Men always blamed and judged to women’s beauty,attitude,nakedness external surface. Although we can see in the video clip the naked husband and wife looked each other upcoming the eating of the fruit from the tree of awareness, and they opened eyes when moment of shame in which husband and wife cover themselves with fig leaves.When the audience are seeing to naked male and female then they feel awkward. She is not a naked, made her naked. However, I want to think naked girl painting in society connected with Berger’s passage. In my country one of the prominent male creator.He is making any types of painting, design,artist also.One day he painted young girl naked picture. He shown in the small market that paint when so many obsers came and all females shamed, annoyed and covered their face then no more showing up. Men were talking to disrespect of women.That moment one strange woman came and took painter quitelly left together. Everybody shocked few hours after knew that woman police officer.She thought male and female are equal she fill up form in court not allowed to show this kind of dishonor paint in public place.Finally, supreme court agree with woman. Why only women are victims and fun of them in the world because tradition, culture and society made them when born. Boys have to be strong, allowed to go anywhere,do anything does not matter but girls case society made them conservative mind and to be shy, house wife, take care of kids. Modern society little change.Women are powerful and against an opportunity and rights.

‘Ways of Seeing’ by John Berger
John Berger is the famous English artist, novelist, real painter, and poet in ‘Ways of Seeing ‘ author explains that why we discover something about ourselves and situation in which we are surviving. The process of seeing painting, it comes suddenly or naturally in our mind because painting has own authentic meaning. All the paintings of the tradition used the convention of perspective, which is unique any countries. The paint is our tradition of art called those appearances reality, perspective makes the eye center of the visible world. But people’s eye can only be in one place at a time.The Camera can changed everything like paintings creations, design, more copies.However, we can see things which were not there in front of us. Author mentions that the invention of the camera has changed not only what we see, but how we see it. Our mind is not easy to think of appearances always traveling to a single center. The camera reproduces it making it available in any size anywhere for any purpose. When we are going to think deeper it becomes various meanings and thoughts.
In my view ‘ways of seeing’ this essay’s writer trying to show us how we see the picture and our ways of seeing changed because of modern technology and science. The author trying to explain so many ways takes example how much reality,unique,authentic,value,invention,perspective of paintings in old generation. He compared old generation and to present. Many years before painting is very valuable,familiarity of surrounded by different objects, different sounds, different colors. Originally, painting were placed special national gallery, pieces in church and buildings. That painting makes us internal reality feelings, memorable further long life.everything around the image is part of its meaning. Now a days technology makes easy,and happy for people. You do not have to go anywhere for visible world. We can go google any kinds of research at home.
