There are different sounds around us that we hear through our ears. Our ears are able to hear different frequencies such as loud or weak, quiet or noisy sounds. One of those sounds is music. We hear music in our televisions, phones, computers and so on. Music changes our feelings helps us relax and etc. Many of us are very fond of listening to music for this, we are even willing to pay for them today; Most artists compose music and these music companies such as YouTube iTunes buy and sell them to ordinary people. Those big companies and artists themselves earn money through music. In my Paper2 I want to analyze a Ways of Hearing episode 4 “Money” by Damon Krukowski. He told how the exchange of music changes our understanding or how do large companies use music as a source of money. Based on Krukowski, I want to analyze my point of view, for example, for some artists’ music is one of or only source making money for living. I think other people should pay for purchase of music to pay other people’s work.

Today, there is no person who does not use a cell phone. From children to older generations, everyone has their own cell phone. Cell phone, is a part of our life, we save photos, talk with friends and use social networks on our cell phone devices. There are people who can spend hours talking with their friends on the phone or their wives can sit for hours and browse the social network. And sometimes, without noticing, we spend most of the time on our gadgets. Maybe for some people this is normal, but not for me. I caught myself in such a position that when I wasted my big time on the phone, I forgot about my responsibilities and family. I used to sit and watch new photos of my friends on Instagram leafing through a Facebook feed or switching to websites and shopping and reviewing new clothes for myself and for my family. I consoled myself with the fact that it’s better to go shopping and watch clothes. I watched all those online but it  happened so often that I spent more time on the phone and didn’t pay attention to my children. When I became a student and this habit of using cell phone led to a big problem in my life. First of all, I spent a small part of my time with my children and mostly tinkering in my phone. My children were left without attention and they were also loading their iPads. I noticed that I did not show them a good example in that way. Secondly, I forgot to do my homework and did my assignments in the last minutes and in this way my assignments were not as good as I could do it. I caught myself thinking that I was wasting my time with unnecessary things and ruining my life. Now every time I take my phone I tell myself that time is an expensive thing and I need to use it usefully.

In the psyche of humanity from the beginning there is a passion for wealth. People are interested in making more money, building  beautiful houses, buying expensive cars and so on. So they want to provide a beautiful and secure life. At times people want to show everyone around what they have, what they have achieved and for this they take pictures of everything they possess and publish it in social networks. In the third episode of Ways of Seeing Berger talked about oil paintings and things that display not only people but also their conditions, jewelry, furniture and luxury outfits. He said those years in this way people wanted to show other people how rich they were.

Today we are in different time however people are still the same. Each time when I leaf through my instagram account I see lots of people’s pictures eating breakfast in famous places, driving luxury cars, wearing diamond jewelry and etc. I recently came across a photo of American rapper Cardi B where she posted pictures of her luxury cars and later I saw a TV show where Cardi B said that she did not know how to drive and the cars which she had posted she had bought to take a picture with them and post on social media. I am just wondering why such photographs are needed at all. I think that people expose these photographs in order to show off what they have or just because of arrogance and superciliousness. Instead of that it would be better if they posted their charity work, helping the disabled or reposting more useful information. We have to understand the simple things. Wealth is not in money; wealth is in the soul. 

Recently I have watched John Berger’s video called “Ways of seeing” Episode II. This video is about depicting women in naked position in art and its acceptation by the society. The society of the past centuries would accept this kind of pictures with hesitation. But the modern society accepts these pictures normally.I want to speak about this situation in my respond. Since the exile of Adam and Eve from the Edem garden humankind has changed completely. If in the past centuries watching or displaying naked women had been a veto or kind of a taboo, now it is not. Nowadays the image of a naked woman can be received as a normal situation. People can look at these women without sense of embarrassment and evaluate their beauty. Nakedness is perceived as a fruit of beauty. The modern society has different stereotypes about naked women. They admit them as independent, powerful and dominant women. Women also are not afraid of showing and exhibiting their body. Moreover, they are not frightened of displaying their orientation. We know many women with lesbian and transsexual orientation and we act normally to them, because our society has admitted these changes.The beauty of a woman is like a Pandora’s box: the more you show it, the more controversial it is. Some admit it normally, some react to it as a result of a strange behavior. But everyone has his or her own opinion. So the answer for being naked or not to be lies in deep places of your soul                                                                                            

Camera is one of the useful tools which transfers us our images no matter the distance. Today with the help of  the images we can infer about what is happening around us or what happened before us and etc. Those images can influence our feelings and actions. In our regular life we take  many pictures on our phones to memorize them. So that looking at them we can remember pieces of our past life. In my case I have plenty of my kids’ pictures and each time when I look at them I travel back to those beautiful lovely days when my kids were babies. Those kinds of pictures give me a feeling of love, motivation and pushes me to do more accomplishment. If we look generally to the images, nowadays social media have worldwide tremendous impact to people. When people post some pictures, those pictures spread in several minutes all around the world. For the last several years people have started to post images of plastic materials which pollute the environment. People who had never thought about this problem before, started to think and worry about our world. In this way I think images have a big impact on people because it is a sort of message to the world. Sometimes we can not see some things but when we look at them from a different angle (in this case on the images) and then we can notice and realize the seriousness of the problem, the hidden message, love, feelings and many more things.
